Product Description: Micro-Silica Powder, Also Referred To As “Silica Ash,” “Microsilica,” Or “Silica Fume,” Is An Amorphous Form Of Powdered Silica (SiO₂). It Is Collected Through A Specialized Dust Collection System Following The Oxidation Of Silicon Vapor Emitted During The Smelting Process Of Ferrosilicon And Industrial Silicon. The Average Particle Size Of Micro-Silica Powder Ranges From 0.1 To 0.15 Μm, Which Is Approximately One-Hundredth The Size Of Typical Cement Particles. With A Specific Surface Area Of 15-27 M²/G, It Exhibits Highly Active Surface Properties.
Applications: Micro-Silica Powder Is Widely Used In Various Applications, Including High-Strength Concrete, Amorphous Refractory Materials, Dry-Mix (Ready-Mix) Mortars, High-Strength Non-Shrink Grouting Materials, Wear-Resistant Industrial Floors, Repair Mortars, Polymer Mortars, Thermal Insulation Mortars, Impermeable Concrete, Self-Leveling Concrete, Concrete Compaction Agents, Concrete Preservatives, And Cement-Based Polymer Waterproofing Agents. Additionally, It Is Utilized For Reinforcing Rubber, Plastic, Unsaturated Polyester, Paints, Coatings, And Other Polymer Materials, As Well As For Modifying Ceramic Products.
